Knowing this table was going to be enduring the Texas weather for most of its life, I wanted to minimize the amount of exposed metal in its construction. Therefore, the majority of this build is held together with dowels and glue.
Once the inlay of the name was finished, I added a second coat of wood stain to make sure everything was sealed from the elements.
In order to make the embossing pop, a custom blend of gold acrylic was used to coat the inlaid design.
